A Holy Holiday

Extravagant Grace

It seems a common theme this year is reducing Christmas. Keeping the focus on Christ and putting aside the peripheral. Sort of a purification of the celebration. I linked to Elisa's call to celebrate the holiday more intentionally focusing on Jesus. Check it out! Do you have plans to do things a little differently this year?

So glad to see you visited Come Have a Peace. I really appreciated your comment. Your example is a profound one ... wow. Maybe your decision to "step away" was what made the difference in how your marriages unfolded.

"Reducing Christmas" ... yes. It seems like that when the holy things have their rightful place, there just isn't room for all of the excesses.

Blessed season to you, and I'll look forward to visiting you again!

This is great. I pray that we focus more on Christ than ourselves this holiday season...I pray that my children see more Jesus than stuff..I pray that I do my job to help this happen. Thanks for being a light.
