Know Peace

The angel announced to the shepherds,

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,

  and on earth peace to those 
on whom his favor rests.”

Luke 2:14

The strife of life is healed when we accept

the gift of Christmas

~Jesus~

Who brings into our hearts the truth that

sets us free.

He establishes the peace we long for...

When He enables us to

~forgive~

~love our enemies~

~humble ourselves~

~serve when we are busy~

~rejoice in His love and promises in hard times~

~face down our fears with courage~

~make decisions based on truth and not people's expectations~

~cease striving...and know that He is God~

Isaiah 9:6-7

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,

    and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called

    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the greatness of his government and peace

    there will be no end.

He will reign on David’s throne

    and over his kingdom,

establishing and upholding it

    with justice and righteousness

    from that time on and forever.

The zeal of the Lord Almighty

    will accomplish this.
